its all about the older GAs, i dont care much for the newer ones unless its the ram air or SC/T model. stupid automatic transmissions... back in the good ol' days, alot of GAs had the 5speed, wooo!

I wanna swap for the 2.3 heads tho i hear they are better, and the 2.3 cams have more lift. but I am too broke for engine work... and yes I thread jacked. thank you and thank you

RAM-AIR is only offered on the GT model. Not only that its a cheap gimmick for you to think that it adds ton of power. Even then it only adds like 5 horsepower over the v6 SE and has lots of flaws in it. GM hasn't offered a manual with the v6 besides the G6 in a LOOOOONNGG time. Even the 99+ 4 cylinder models have manuals. Only thing is the pre 99 GT models were offered in the 4 cylinder 5 speed. 99+ GT's are only offered in v6 which eliminates the chance of getting a manual GT.

And the SCT model only comes with a different hood and wing. Not much different then the standard GT.


My V6 auto would KILL my old 93 4 cylinder manual ANYDAY!
