tire warranty

first of all i don't know if this is the right place, but here we go.
I was wondering about how tire warranties work, i currently have tires with a 80000 mile warranty, I have gone maybe about 40000 and they are worn out. Does this mean the location I got my tires will replace them or are there conditions to the tires.

They should replace them or prorate them with you providing prrof of tire rotation every 3K miles and air pressure adjustments.

If the place where you bought the tires is close and handy I would go and talk to them about it. But if i am correct on this. I think they prorate the tires on how many miles you have gone with them. So if you only went half the miles the tires are warrantied for, then you would get about half off on a new set.
