ok so some of you who go on to grandamgt has heard about domestic performance coming out with a 65mm t-body well here are a couple of pics for you. the marron and black one(mine) is called a smoke effect. the second one (phantoms from grandamgt) is completly polished and the this is what he did to my CAI.

thats awesome...Was yours painted or is it some kind of process that was used?

It's a type of anodization I think. I read the guy making them offers that. The link to the discussion is here (http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35480). Quite a long read through though.

yeah it is anodizing. they can do different effects,solid color and also lettering in the designs. he showed me one finish, flame effect, and when you look at the designs you can see faces in it. they weren't done on purpose, but they always show up in the finish.

what do you have to tear the old TB apart? if you do the plate is still the same size?
