Theftlocked Stereo

So yea, the previous owner of my car (a cumbass) decided to take out the stock radio before he sold it to me, then he put it back in, the problem is that the radio and the car's computer both thought that the radio was stolen, so the theftlock was enabled and now the radio wont work at all. Is there any know solution to this problem short of going to a dealership to get it reprogrammed, getting a new stock radio, or getting an aftermarket CD player? (I will be getting a cd player soon, but for now some music would be nice... the sound of the engine is great background, but just sometimes I need some f-in' loud music!!!)

Try disconnecting the battery.
Get the lock code from the guy.

If no luck there.........yeah got to take it in and get re-prog.

Check this one out...it worked perfect when i had to do it, and it's free. Go down to the one that says "alternate method".
