Well the title pretty much sums it up. For about the last week or so, I've noticed that there is a poping, or clunking sound when I turn right. It only pops once per turn. I can't really tell where it's coming from. It sounds like it might be near the middle of the car...like right under me. And I've noticed that is only really does it when I'm not accelerating or braking through a turn. Any idea if it might be my suspension/exhaust/anything? Thanks for any input.

Trying to explain a sound isn't very easy :roll2:

Drive axle? (depending on where the popping is coming from) But then again I don't think the popping would last for 2 weeks if it was your axle.

I might be wrong, but I don't have axles...do you mean the drive shaft, like it could be a CV joint is going?

yes yes sorry about that. My mind's a bit slow sometimes. Have the joints looked at. Sounds logical to me. All I know is that it makes a popping noise when you turn sometimes. That is where I would start looking. But get some other opinions too.

I was thinking it might be that but I thought the joints made a grinding or constant popping sound when your turning. Thanks for the input though...i hope it's not that :(

My friend's Corsica has bad cv-joints, It pops on had acceleration out of turns.

Check the control arm bushings. The control arm bushing (looks like a hockey puck with a hole in it) fell out of place. I hammered it back into place and its been fine for the last 6 months now. I can take a pic of it if you need me too.
