Here is a pic, there are 2 more pics on my cardomain, but pretty much show the same thing. We will probably upgrade to a boxed in trunk sometime in the near future, but for now, Who needs trunk space? :lol:

The only reason they are pushed so far up is because behind the box is my amp rack with my 3 amps, equalizer/crossover, and cap.

Yeah they are 12s and the cap is a rockford fosgate.

Nice job on building that box!!

Just curious.. is it a good idea to have your 'center' sub so close to the back of the car. Seems to me that the sound waves will throw it slightly out of phase when it is that close. I hope not... just curious.

Sorry, but I didn't build it, I paid about $150 for the box and the install.

TheNewLMHDesign, I don't really like that set up, looks too weird for me.:???:

My trunk was made to hold subs and other audio equip. :lol:
I honestly don't need the trunk space right now. If I do end up needing the space for some reason, I will box it in. This was the cheapest way for me to do it right now. Plus I get the $150 I paid as credit towards an upgrade (box in) when I save the rest of the money!

i cant picture that setup having the correct space for each sub, plus firing up cant sound good against the trunk lid the way im picturing it in my head

Well, it was done right, not exactly like that, then it would definently save trunk space. You could put the subs behind plexiglass, and then the amp/amps in the floor or on each side of the wall, giving you room in the center to set bags, etc.
