is it worth it on a pretty much stock eco with weapon r header, the res taken out , a highflow cat , and dynomax muffler?

I think we now average 2.46 post per week of people asking about pipe diameter for their 4 bangers GAs.
If you move the scroll bar tab on the right of your screen while veiwing the performance modification section your see the topic "dual exhaust on an I4" topic which has alot of good information inside about pipe diameter.
But don't worry I did the hard work and posted a link for you. Now all you have to do is click and read...

2.25" unless your going forced induction. Otherwise on pretty much stock a 2.5" will do more damage than good.

150-200 CID 2" to 2-1/4"
200-250 CID 2-1/4" to 2-1/2"
250-300 CID 2-1/2" to 3"
300-350 CID 2-1/2" to 3"
350-400 CID 3" to 4"

as a rough rule of thumb for single pipe exhaust systems. if you go with true duals you need to go with smaller pipe, unless you start getting into high horsepower numbers. in which case you adjust accordingly

your right, but i dont see anyone running true duals on this site to have to get smaller pipe.

naw, you dont need it :P i dont have very much
that exhaust system should give him enough backpressure to keep the bottom end responsive
