what wax or waxing procedure give the glossest look?

I've used both Mother's and Meguirs. I was impressed with both of them, they left a good shine.

Buy at least a 3 step kit. I reccomend Meguiar's. 1 removes paint contaminants, 2 is a cleaner, 3 is a polish. If you want an all out clean, follow it by Zymol polish (found at Wal-Mart) blue bottle.

i thought it was 1 is a cleaner, 2 is a polish, and 3 is a wax. or maybe i'm just a complete dumba$$ and don't know what the hell i'm talking about.

Has anyone had any luck with paste waxes. I've heard that the new ones are almost as easy to apply and remove as the liquid waxes.

Zaino's the best - it's professional stuff. For dark cars, Z5 is as good as getting it professionally buffed.

I've still got some Mother's and Meguires wax that I need to use up, but I need to try Zaino.
