I know the sides and rear are fine but can anyone let me know how the front chin spoiler is? Has anyone had any issues with clearance on the front? My parents are gonna loan me half the money for the kit if clearance isn't an issue, they just don't want me to get it and mess things up right away.

have you lowered your car any? If not then you should be fine. I got the Andys Auto Sport kit for my 97 and I have to be careful because its about an inch to 2inches lower then the factory bumper. The SC/T kit is prolly no more then an inch lower but if not lowered any then you should be fine. If you are lowered you should still be fine but just be more careful entering inclined parking lots or driveways, nothing too hard to remember.

Thats the reason i didn't get the AED kit,the front bumper is really low, that thing is atleast another inch lower then my AAS front. Im still getting their side skirts and door panels though this year:D

I have been driving with the chin spoiler on my car since October. Lets just say I have to keep my car on flat land. I can't take steep driveways anymore else I hear a loud ass scrape. I scraped up my chin spoiler and got it repainted but that was a waste of money because everytime my car goes up on the lift it gets scraped underneath. But other than that its fine and I'm driving on stock springs:P But I can't wait till the snow goes away because I ordered the rest of the kit and its sitting in my living room right now:)

Can't wait to have that feeling...
Would it help to put a metal skid plate under the chin where no one could see it? And when it scrapes, can you actually see the marks since it's the underside?
Just a thought...

dont listen to her ... she cant drive.
i have a sprint drop with the kit and have minimal scrapes after 3 months of driving with it on... most of them are from going up my driveway which is unavoidable for scraping... you just have to learn how to take inclines at an angle.

it is low....most problems are avoidable though. It's about 4-5 inches lower than stock. You'll be fine. Also what I did was find some sheet metal, cut it to fit the bottom of the lip, and attach it with some 3M tape. Holds up well and no paint scrapes.

i wanted the front of the SC/T kit but i only have about 5 or 6 inches of clearance as it is with my H&R springs. they settled really low. if i pull up too far in any parking space now ill bang the front of my bumper...not scrape the bottom. if my car was a garaged show car then id get the kit.

its an add on chin to gets bolted to the bottom of the GT bumper. so how ever thick the chin spoiler is, thats how much lower it is than stock. it looks to be about 3 or 4 inches thick.
