Im new to this forum i have a 97 grand am se with a 2.4 liter engine out of a 98 malibu, i was curious who all makes a TRUE CAI for them, All ive seem to have found so far is one from ICEMAN the rest all seem to be short ram, does anyone know if the iceman is a true CAI or if there is anyone else who makes a CAI for the 2.4 liters?? here is the link to the iceman...http://www.speedyperformanceparts.com/performance/brand.php?make=pontiac&year=1997&model=grand_am&partname=cold_air_intake it says only $195

I have the Iceman intake, and thats what it looks like on my car. That is what is known as a WAI intake.

www.induction-dynamics.com has a TRUE CAI see how it goes furture and raps around the battery and then goes down into the fender.

Here is another WAI, its from AEM but it is longer then the Iceman intake, see how it eliminates that black box that the iceman intake doesnt.

by the way, 195 for the iceman intake is a rip off, they sell on iceman's site for around 180 and less on other sites.

according to the site though that iceman intake is a true cold air its not a wai... and do u know how much the induction dynamic runs or how to order it?

that website is wrong........ go to induction dynamics and click order i think the intake is like close to $300, someone on here i think was selling one, you might want to do a search on here for ID intake or induction dynamics i think he wanted like 200 new in the box

Induction dynamics site is down sofar. I was ready to get one from them but there site wasn't up. and I havn't got an e-mail back from them, when the site is going to be back up.
