I got a set of new tweeters tonight. They're Pioner TS-T15. I got a good deal for them so i jumped at it. Well I decided i wanted to mount them on the door where the side view mirrors go. So I removed the back part and cut hole in them with my dremel. Worked out pretty good if I say so myself. Got some pics to show you guys. I think imma paint them to match my dash while there off. I should have some pics with them actually installed in a few days.

Dude those look sweet. I am looking to upgrade my stock tweeters and pioneer 4x6 since they have a little bit of distortion when turned up a lot. Let me know how they sound compared to stock...

If you're going to upgrade your fronts, don't go with another set of 4x6's... Upgrade to 5.25's or some 6.5's... It's not hard to mount them in there, and then you can also get a nice component set if you want/have the money!

The only reason I had 4x6 is because I picked them up for $30 CAN so they were worth it. As for upgrading I will definitely go with at least 5.25 or 6.5 for sure. I know custom mounting plates will need to be made but that will be the fun part :D. As for components, I don't feel like buying another amp so I don't know if I will go that route. My system sounds the way I want it to right now, but it just needs no be a little bit better.

you don't HAVE to have a seperate amp for components, you just get the most out of them if you do have one pushing them.

that sail panel looks really good
