anyone know if a supercharger from a 3.8 will fit on the 3.3 v6? ive been thinking about it and i noticed my car is very slow and i cant from crap for the 3.3...seems no one cares about it...anyone help is appreceiated. thanks

I don't think so. the 3.0 and the 3.3 i think are 90 degree blocks. You might look at stuff for the 3.0 and see what will work. Also some of the 4.3 stuff might also go, but check it out.

ive been under thje impression that the 3.3 and the 3.8 are the same blocks and alot of different people have told me that but ill look into what you have said.

the 3.8 and the 3.3 are teh same block both are 90 degree blocks. the 3.3 is actually a destroked 3.8. as for the supercharger i think it might work if you get one off of a 3800 Gen. I engine but i would bet against one working off of a 3800 Gen.II

It'd be more trouble than it's worth really. Theoretically it'll bolt right up, but clearance issues, tuning issues, stuff like that.

What Travis said, also I think you need the intake manifold (or at least the upper) from the same 3800.

what about a turbo setup then? how hard would that be to do?
first of all our transmissions aren't meant to handle that kind of power, especially the 3 speed in the 3.3's. Second, the internals wouldnt' hold up well because the compression is too high. Your best bet would be to get some lower compression pistons by having them custom fabricated.
