Sorry, but I had to start it.

I've read of some people cracking the lights accidently while seperating them, but still using them. I know I can seal up the cracks to make them water proof, but is there any way to try to hide the cracks? I was thinking wet sanding them after they're crazy glued together, then if they're hazy in that area.... clear coat?

Thank god I cracked the driver's side and not the passenger side, I paid $20 more for the passenger's side.

wont work, put a vinyl strip around it... other than that, unless its filled in, it will still show

As long as it's not too bad you'll hardly notice. I cracked both sets of mine on the SE and the GT.

I started the prep work for before i paint the inside.... underneath that silver is black and damn is this gonna look good when it's done. I figure if I do it a high enough gloss there would be no problems with it.

Finally, a nice day yesterday gave me the chance to paint the inside of the tails... whats everyone think?

Nice 'n shiney. Everyone says its easy to seperate the 2 halves of the taillighgts, but everytime I try I end up cracking a tiny piece of the lip of the housing and thne just stop give up.

I just cleared mine this weekend. Belive it or not the tails didn't crack and actually came apart cleanly.
