What cracks me up is this:
Main Forum
Talk about Grand Am stuff here! Please, ABSOLUTELY NO TECHNICAL QUESTIONS TO BE POSTED IN HERE!!!!!
...and he starts his thread like this:

Yea, try posting in the engine modifications thread... also try using the search button.
I read up a little on this a while ago, basically you have to switch the tranny as well (or else modify the original one)... The one that you currently have won't be able to handle the power. And also I've heard that it uses a different wiring harness, so you better know a little bit about electrical. Other than that, I've heard it will fit but it will be a really tight squeeze.

Sorry, didn't mean to come across like that...I forgot that I can't express tone on here. I did sound a little bit harsh...It is just hard to read so white is prefered. :)
As for the motor swap, it has been done, and can be done...but you need the know how to do it and a lot of customization. Oh yeah, and $$ too :D
