98 GA SE wiring.

I just bought some subs and an amp and I need to run the wires. Im having a hard time finding a place to run the Power wire through the firewall. Its a 5awg wire and I cant seem to find any holes through the firewall. There is a big black rubber piece thats on top of the firewill by the pedals. Am i going to have to rip that out and drill a hole through it somewhere? anyone thats done this on a 98 SE and can help with this, i would greatly appreciate it.

i did search but i was looking to narrow it down to anyone that has delt with the specific year.

My '96 is the same design as your '98. This is where I drilled through, just to the left of the steering column.

Well i got it through but I put it in a different spot. I put it on the drivers side corner right under the windshield wiper. It fits nicely between the hood latch wire and some other group of wires.
