ok, i've been thinking about getting an aftermarket shift knob. i have an automatic with the ETS switch. now, with the wire harness for the ETS switch, are there two wires running to that (positive and negative) or does it have just one wire?? if there are two, is it possibly to wire those two together to keep the ETS on constantly and not worry about running it to a switch. i never turn the ETS off so there is really no need for a switch. if they can't be wired together, i will probably run it to a toggle and just hide it underneath the center console instead of mounting yet another toggle switch on the side of the center console.

i hope this all made sense what i was trying to explain.

You should be able to do that. Thats what I waz going to do when I put the aftermarket shift knob on my 98 but I put a switch in just to make it look nice.

cool...i've already got three toggle's and i don't want to keep drilling more holes for a switch that i pretty much won't use.

Yea,I was either going to do that OR put a switch for the ETS right where the sticker by the shifter that says "apply brakes to engange from park" or whatever it says:D
