I'd go with upgrading the fronts first if you are doing it one at a time. Some infinities 6.5's sound really good. If you have subs, you won't even need the bass from them.

summer car??
how much money you wanting to spend? i've got some alpine type r's in my fiance's 99 and i like them. they don't break the bank at around $150 and they sound pretty good.
but i have to agree with saltysix, if you're going to upgrade one or the other i'd upgrade the front. you'll notice more of a difference :D

ok so maybee thats why they sound good, maybee the previous owner upgraded the front ones, they are in the door correct? how wold i be able to tell if their aftermarket? the previous owner had a expensive stereo that was stolen, and i wonder if he put nicer speakrs in cause it seemed point less to spend a shit load and not bother with speakers.

Well... If you buy them and get rid of the car, you can always put them in a different car. You can put those speakers anywhere, just need to do some mods to your environment.

Especially the price now. I paid $243 at Circuit city for the both, with the 2 year extended warranty.
