hehehe... thanks dave, I'm glad my GA has 123,000 miles on it.
1. It cost me only $4100, partially since I worked at the dealer who sold it to me :)
2. I have an "excuse" (reason) to do the swap sooner than other guys.
3. It still starts right up, runs like a champ, and goes like it's new. Burns no oil.

Haha, yea... I wish I had a reason to (and the money as well!). Once I get a real job (outta college), I plan on getting an old 3800 SC'ed, tearing it down and rebuilding it. Then, swapping it into the GA. Of course this would be 5-6 years down the road, and plans can change :( But I would LOVE to have a REAL SC/T Grand Am :thumbup2:

that would be wicked... I'd like to "convert" my 2000 to a 2004 GAGT appearancewise, get the SC/T hood, and of course the swap.

Ive been considering swapping motors for a couple of weeks now. I can get a crate motor from gm, complete from top to bottom for about $4600. Id do all the labor myself so thats not an issue. Just dont know if i want to spend that kind of money.
