For the past two years group of GAOC members have gathered in Albany NY to meet new people, show off and drag race their GAs, learn new things, but most importantly to have a good time with people they chat with everyday but rarely ever see. But to say the GAOC Albany meet is just another gathering would be moddest. Grudge matches are settled on 1320 feet of blacktop at Lebenon Valley Dragway, stories are traded over lunch at beautiful and scenic Thatcher Park, while people learn new tricks as they checkout everyone's ride in the Show-n-Shine. And then no one can forget the memories made at night while cruising the stripe or having beer races off of Pucci's hood. The overall event this year streches five days long, that is five days of flat out fun with new friends and old one's alike.
Every year the Albany meet has been hosted by ClubECM.com. This year we have come up with a way to make going to the Albany meet just a bit more fun for GAOC members, here's how...
We have assembled two prize packages to be raffled off to two lucky members.
Grand Prize-
- ClubECM.com will reimburse the winner for the cost of their room at the Quality Inn for 3 nights,
- One Albany GAOC meet t-shirt,
- One Grand Am Owners Club Decal,
- One gift certificate to Dunkin Donuts,
- One gift pack of other goodies.
Runner Up Prize -
- One Albany GAOC meet t-shirt,
- One Grand Am Owners Club Decal,
- One gift certificate to Dunkin Donuts,
- One gift pack of other goodies.
Here is how it will work. With each entry purchased the contestant will choose a 3 digit number. At the close of the raffle three sets of numbers 0-9 will be placed into a bin. Three seperate numbers drawn will form the winning number, just as it's done in a lottery. The runner up number will be drawn first, followed by the grand prize number. If the three digits drawn do not form a number that was reserved by a entry, they will be placed back into the bin, and three more will be drawn until a winner is found.
Entries will be $10 each, two for $18, or three for $25. Please Paypal all entries with your Real Name, Screen Name and 3 digit number(s) to ClubECM@Gmail.com. Once received all numbers taken will be listed here. If numbers you choose are not listed but already requested by another member prior to an update has being made you will be sent a reply and asked to choose another 3 digit number.
As with all of our give aways and raffles during the meet, all money raised goes directly into the Albany meet it's self, not into anyone's pocket. This year is our first time doing anything like this, if it's a hit next year bigger and better prizes maybe offered.
