Yes ... we're back :) ... without getting too technical (simply because I can't :lol: :D) ... the 'web server' stopped functioning; however, our databases, etc were all still available ... the server just wouldn't access the internet ... as a result, we are now on a different server entirely which at FIRST GLANCE appears to me quicker ... also, our forum email notifications should be back up and running shortly if they aren't already.

Anyway ... a big thank you goes out to Jayna (our host) and of course, Shawn for getting us up and running again ... I may own half this place but for those of you who don't know, when it comes to the site itself, I am just 'moral support' :lol:

There is something to be said for being "back to normal" :D

Thanks guys. But please, no bad-mouthing other sites. We all have our preferences, but no need to put others down. There are many that consider those other sites 'home', and I know how much I hate it when I see others bad-mouthing the GAOC.

I started this thread at 10:30 last night (3/3), so the first page of posts came before your announcement.

As for badmouthing, did I miss something? I didn't see anyone mention another site. :confused:

Stepping down. Being still somewhat a newbie I didn't know where else to come for support if should I ever have a problem with my GAGT. I'mhappy to hear it wasn't a more serious issue that sent the boards into cyberland for a few days.

Sorry if my post seemed to be targeting you, that wasn't my intention. I simply mentioned my announcement because I explained in greater detail what actually happened. :) As for the comments on bashing other sites, it didn't actually happen in this thread, but a few things were said in another similar thread, and I wanted to nip the problem in the bud. Cool? :toast:
