GA's With Leather Interiors (99+)

Ok, so I have a 2000 Grand Am GT. Fold down backseat for trunk access, both manual slide bucket front seats, and a power lift to go up and down on the drivers side.

I want to know how many leather colors were offered for Grand Ams (I have gray interior, dark, if you ask me), and how I can tell if the leather would fit in my car.

I've seen a good deal on a full set for a 99 GT's interior, but I don't know, I'm scared to buy different year leather for color matching (Trans Am had problems with that).

Another thing, would the backseat leather seats fit if they were from a two-door?

If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, or how I can tell, please fill me in.

And if anyone has a decently priced set, let me know :).

As with most GA's they were a dark pewter. It really didn't depend on the year, as long as it wasn't a tan interior. If you want a custom job, try leatherseats.com. Or if you want the fake leatherette covers try PYFC. Good Luck......."Gus"

I just want leather seats.

To me, I've only seen two colors of leather seats for Grand Ams, and that was tan and dark gray, for leather and cloth.

The only raeson I ask is that I saw a set on ebay and they gave a color number and said, "make sure it matches"

I'm pretty sure they only had one type of gray for your year. The 2-door
4-door deal souldn't make a difference. The 2-door seats just have the fold down lever on the front.

I'm poor.

I couldn't figure out how to install Katzkin if I was good with cars.

Now the issue is, about having only one color gray for my model year, what about other 99+ model years? Were there any differences in the grey leather from 99 to 2000 or up?

Note that this is just for future reference, I'd like to put leather in eventualyl.
