I don't think I can afford to do all the mods that I want at once. So is there a best order to do mods? Would a CAI show much gain without the exhaust? Or would it be better to work on the whole intake (throttle body, manifold, intake) before the exhaust? Or header, cat, and exhaust before the intake? I'm sure doing it all is best but as I said, a little at a time.

I would start with the exhaust. remove the resonator, get a custom cat back system with a flowmaster 40 series. Its a great start and gives your car a little kick. It also makes it sound pretty mean. Great place to start. Then I would do the intake. Start with a CAI and work towards the engine one piece at a time. Thats what i've been doing and its working out very well for me.

I went just the opposite, cold air intake first, then exhaust mods. Next on the list is a DHP ECU. THen I might be happy with the perfomance (but don't bet on it). mopowr79

Ive gone intake and then custom cat-back route. Next for me is the headers.

i got a CAI first too,, the stock air box is soo restrictive that's probably the best thing to do first, as well as less expensive exhaust work. A new throttle body's probly the last thing i would do on a GA, if at all. It's the least bang for your buck, while costing somewhere ~$200 and only really providing a 1-3hp increase. good luck man.

The TB is the least bang for your buck if you only do the TB. If you P/P your intake manifolds, have a CAI, and maybe some head work, that extra $200 TB is gonna be what's holding you back. I have my CAI done now and i'm working towards the engine. First the TB. then the upper and lower intake manifolds and then head work. I'm not even expecting an HP increase with the TB. I just want a clear path for the air to get to the real mods.

I did the intake first. I got the Induction Dynamics intake and I could tell a noticable difference. I just got exhaust done and it goes good with the intake. I would suggest intake first.
