I am wondering where i can put a 8" kicker sub inside the car. Possibly the console on the floor somewhere. Any ideas would help. Its a 8" kicker solo

you could make a custom console, wouldn't be very easy though.

yeah, custom console, or if you have room drop it under the front seats some how

you'd have to raise the seats. those subs can go on small amounts of air space, but i dont think the sub itself would under the seats. is it L5 or L7?

you can build a custom fiberglass enclosure behind the cetner console...between the foot areas for the driver and passanger. its kinda of open in front of the console...and youd jsut seal it up and aim the sub down. might be a tough task, but would be bad a$$. i often thought of doing something there.

I would but I have never Fiberglassed and i am unsure on how to do it. I want to give it a try though but i would have to buy some tools i guess. Would it be possible to cut a square hole in the center of the bench seat, put a wooden box down in there with plexyglass over the top.

try and cut a hole in the seat?? i dont think i'd take out a razor and start cutting till i done a little research. see if you can get the bottom of the seat out and take a look under it. im sure you can get it out, but im not sure how. i've never taken it out before. off the top of my head im remembering a hump in the floorboard that may keep you from putting a box in there.

it would look good if you could do it, but if it were my car it would render my backseat useless. i wouldn't let anyone sit back there for fear of messing something up. and if i were to have a back seat that was useless i would take it out........if i took it out i'd put a big box there. and with a big box you have to have 1 really big sub or a few smaller subs :D. or you could even put that small 8" in there, just in a really big ported box. people might laugh........until you hit a high 140s or low 150s with it

You could have it drop down from the bottom of the console on the passengers side. And just bolt it up there.

Glassing isnt honestly that hard. Car Audio Dave and a few others can help you out with that part. Its not that hard once you get the hang of it.

i'll second that, in m GA i hit 136.6db with a rockford hx2" with only a punch 120a2 pushing it, however i bridged the amp down to 2ohms which isn't recommended, i went from a 20A fuse to a 40A fuse to make it work and it never fried on me

if you want a good SPL ported box for any size sub check www.powered4sound.com
