I am planning to completely remove the stock HU and install a lcd for my carputer and I have a couple questions.
Will the PAC OEM-1 kit from Tune-Town (http://www.tune-town.com/Cars/stuff/Pontiac/2001-02_Pontiac_Grand_Am.htm) work so i can attach the stock harness (that used to be attached to the stock HU) to the OEM-1, and have RCA plugs coming from the other end to attach to the pc?

Will the stock monsoon amp and speakers function without a HU?

Hope this makes sense since im a computer guy thats learning some car stuff.

Any feedback is appreciated. :)

You need a 4 Channel Amplifier that would take the RCA signal from the computer and properly direct it to the diff channels.

it would kinda be wired like this

----------........................---------....Stock Harness....----------
|.........................|......RCA's.....|...... ..................|==============|....Monsoon..... .|
|..Computer.....|==========|......Amp.........|=== ===========|.........Amp..........|
|.........................|......(input).....|.... ....................|==============|....&..Speakers.|
----------.........................---------...................................----------
