Mazda MX-3-doing a custom mod-need your help!

hi all! this is my first post here as i am a Mazda MX-3 owner... now whether or not that sits well with you, IDK, but i need your help... i really really really like the sideview mirrors on the 99-01 or 02 (i forget what the cut-off year is) Grand Am's.... i'm thinking about doin a custom job on my mx-3 and swapping over to them... now, this is how i need your help... i was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to do me a huge favor.... i need 4 measurements taken (as i don't own or know anybody that own's this generation GA)... i need the 3 sides of the mounting base measured (up and down, side to side, and the diagonal side), the 4th measurement i need would be how many inches the mirror hangs off of from the body of the car, so i can know how much further the GA mirror will protrude from the car as compared to my stock mirrors (they're short mirrors)... i need to determine whether or not it will look dumb (don't want my MX to look like it has little wings)... these measurements will help me assess how much custom work will be involved with this project, and hopefully will allow me to go ahead will the project... soooooooo, if anyone would be so kind as to do this for me, i'd greatly appreciate it!!! i'll post pics here once i'm done my project so that you can see what i did.....

i say go to a junk yard, grab a mirror for cheap and check it out. if you dont like you can always get rid of it. and not lose a ton of money. also you need to dicide if you want power mirrors or manual. im sure the price wil varey. also i hope you know how to do all the wireing to hook up the power mirror.
