LED domelights in 99+ GAs

how many of you have custom LED domelights, or just an LED bulb in your dome lights? id like to do one, just to see how damn bright i can make it. if you guys just bought a replacement bulb...is it any brighter, or just whiter in color. id like to just buy a bunch of white leds and somehow put them in there...just dont know how to mount them?

I took 10LEDs 5mms and found a drill bit just smaller than the LEDs then stuck the LEDs in place and wired it to the regular power of the domelight. It was awesome. and it worked when i opened the door and everything.

I took the plastic clear cover off. Then i made sure to mark where I was going to drill so they were parallel, even, and in a pattern. Then I put the LED bulb in the hole and the hole was just smaller than the LED so it held it in there tight. Then I sodered the legs of the LEDs so that I was running 4 together. another 4 together, then 2 together. You can only run 4 LEDs together without a resistor. So I had to use a resistor for the last 2. Then it all worked out fine.
