Alright so as some of you may no, I have... unfortunate :lol: (just kidding Nick) connections to the focus crowd. Well It appears that they are planning a meet at Great Lakes Dragaway. So I'm thinking we need to go teach em a lesson.

April 9 is the day, not sure what time they're plannin to start, but I think it would be fun. Supposedly some of them can run mid - low 15s. I'm not sure what mine runs with the cold air, so I need some of you guys with more mods to come back me up.

It would be cool if I could show up on my motorcycle, but there's no way I'll be experienced enought to be draggin on two wheels.

Awesome. Just Ill try to get the inside info on whos not modded so you can go against them. And if you do get beat, chances are all in all they still got more money into there car so you can just rub that in. :D

Shawn's got a point. If we were "invited" that would be different. Then they would be askin for it. haha. Or we could show up to race each other since it is an open race day. Don't want to flame, I've just never been to the track and think the experience would be great.

I was invited by Nick aka Grandamfood. Thats why I'm going. He said I should post here and invite you guys too, because being the only grandam in a group of foci would suck. Again it's not hardcore serious got to beat the snot out of em and rub it in. Just trying to get some of you together and have a good time.

I had blast the last time I was at the track, but I think it would 10 times better with another grandam to share the experience with.

OK, cool. Just wanted to be sure. I know I wouldn't like it much if a bunch of Mustangs showed up at the track for the GAOC meet. Oh wait, that already happened. Twice! :lol:

If the Focus group (Focus group, LOL!) doesn't mind you all being there, then that's cool with me. :toast:

Yeah I wouldn't be too cool with that either, but there was an invite. As a side note, I dont plan on going down with my car unless somebody from here plans on goin. I'd rather wait on a track time until I get exhaust and a few other things taken care.(the bike is slowin that down bigtime but it's worth it)

ya guys come on to the strip, its tuns of fun. ppl are usually pretty nice there, just out to have a good time. i ran a 16.78 the last time i ran. you shouldnt be embarrassed if u get beat by a focus, i have seen honda civics all motor run in the 12's with some gutting and NOS. there is a guy there that runs an old grand am in the 12's with NOS and fully gutted, he runs the summit super series races. he is a friend of the manager at anchorbank in middleton, who runs a 93 yellow sunbird or his 2000 grandam gtp. he is also at the track a lot and runs the series. he is a huge pontiac guy and a cool guy. the sunbird runs a 15.5 and the GTP runs a 14.4.
so guys should come its fun, i like pontiacs and i'd back u up if anyone knocks pontiacs
