I just bought a 97 grand am gt ,and wAS wondering what is the best thing to use to take off bird droppings,which looks as if they have been washed off and stained the paint.I tried the meguirs cleaner wax and didnt faze it.IS this something i will have to live with or is their a product made to remove this.

Try 3M Finish Restorer. It is clear coat safe, and to finish it off..........you can use 3M Hand Glaze, and 3M Liquid Wax........or you may use Zanio to complete the mirror like finish after the finish restorer.......Good Luck.....:)

If the bird crap stayed on there too long, its probably etched into the paint. Usually it leave a nice little hazy mark.

Depending on how bad it is you might need the work of a professional detailer using a buffer and polish / compound...
Try a polish like... Poorboy's Super Swirl Remover... it comes in 4 different grades (1, 2, 2.5, 3) 1 being the least aggressive and 3 being the most aggressive...
Try keeping a bottle of quick detailer and a microfiber towel in your car so you can remove them safely once the birds nail ya :)
