just as it says. i know how to, but for those of you that have, i'm really worried that i will take them off and there will be marks left behind on the paint. like a "Grand Am GT" impression on the paint... is that an issue? or is the paint good enough now a-days not to fade over time. my car is a 1997

You will probably be able to see a very very small outline of the badges.. but it will fade pretty quickly. Its very easy to do.

Not an issue, not w/ base coat/ clear coat paint. What you probably are seeing is the etching the adhesive causes from the emblems. It'll actually eat into the paint a was. Try some rubbing compound & then apply wax to the area. That should take care of it.:)

I took all of mine off and I can't see anything left...so you should be ok...:)

Yep, only marks left are from the adhesive, which are easily removed with some elbow grease ;)
