Anyone know the part number for the 96-98 sail panel with tweeter pod? The 2 dealerships around me seem to not know, one says there is no such thing and the other has ordered the wrong part TWICE so I've had it lol .

I don't know if maybe calling it a sail panel confuses them? A sail panel is the outer body panel that spans between your quarters & your roof (You have 2 of them on a car) I've heard them referred to as interior window garnishes. I'll have to ask some of the other body guys in the other side of the shop what they're called for sure.

Well I tried searching online with all different combination of names and using sail panel gave me the most hits, just of the wrong part number. Thanks for looking into it, I apprieciate it.

I did this mod to my car too. God, I don't remember what the numbers are...

One note about when you do install them: They don't fit like you think they will. You have to do some modifying to either the shark-fin speaker or the metal on the door itself.

Mine need to be fixed. They look like they want to fall off. But they do look good.

^ I know they dont fit like I thought they would, I ordered got a set of non speaker ones for nothing. I was disappointed they didnt fit right, I figured they'd go on better. I'll see what I can do when I get them, I may try a fiberglass mold or something, but that would take learning how to glass, lol .

I got a reply over on GAGT, figured I'd post it here for anyone else looking in the future.

Yeah, they doo look pretty good though. It's just getting them stay on the door.

Did you get them to fit on?
