I just got 2 10" Alpine tyoe S subs. What amp do you all recommend I use with it? Is my stock headunit going to have enough power or should I go for something else? How should I secure my box so it doesn't slid around or will it?

You're def. going to need an amp... Those are the same thing as Type E's, so like 400 watts max would be good... I have 350 watts going to my 2 12" type-E's and they sound just fine with that. If you can find a MTX 4250D on eBay, pick that up.

Not near enough.
