thats right! we traded in the Purple Grand Am and got a new sibling for my GA, an 05 Nissam Altima 3.5 SE with 250 hp. heres some pics...BTW its the same engine as the 350Z, so its got potential that we have every intention of using. :D

thanks jordans...she wont let me drive it yet...but im working on that one ;) .
it also has 17" rims, steering wheel stereo controls, and the remote clicker lowers the windows. and did i mention the 250 HP!!! i love that part so ill probably mention that a few more times. :lol:

how does it sound compared to the 350z, i love the sound of those, they sound really nice.

I love that car. Its always been one of my favorites. She spent a pretty penny on that beauty! Tell her she made a kick ass decision!

it needs the downpipe and nismo exhaust, then itll sound the same. were gonna do intake as well, im loking at he nismo intake too, and it only costs about what the Dr. speed one does for the GA.

yea it wasnt cheap, but i help negotiate it down to about the price of a medium loaded GAGT.


nissan has really come a long way since 99, i looked at them before i got ym car but they had nothing to really offer. now id take just about anything they have to offer except the sentra which sill isnt bad.

i still love my GA, and honestly, my car is just about as fast off the line. at some point well track test the two together. :D

I work at a Nissan dealer, and to hear a 350Z with NISMO exhaust get revved in the shop is a beautiful thing. One of the first japanese V6's that dont sound...flatulent, thats for sure.

nice... i just got my max 3 weeks ago...pretty much same car...lol

motor is same at least

i signed up at maxima.org (terrible haters there) but if ure just looking for information u can usually find it. The site itself is shitty, and u have to pay to use a lot of the functions (including search.... ghey)

either way u can get a full exhaust which is headers, y-pipe, b-pipe out to the muffler, and muffler for like 1200... not bad for everything all in one. www.cattman.com

also, AEM makes a cai that (according to AEM makes 11hp @ the wheels) has been hated on because the filter sits RIGHT behind the radiator (although im thinkin bout gettin one from this guy since he only wants a buck fiddy for it

well you might be able to back up that comment if you actually got to drive my car...but your slow grand am will never be able to catch up with me....so keep dreaming..hehe just playin with ya

sweet98gagt----well i just signed up on nissanclub.com which is ok i havent really checked it out yet. but i dont think it is in depth as this website but i have been on this site for years. but i will be looking in to exhaust and intake. maybe some tint and defenitly going to put a system in.

you made a nice choice in the end. i woulda probably compared the G35 to the TL rather than an altima.

it looks like lots of people are abandoning their GAs, theres so much out there now....and GM isnt offering much anymore.

I looked at the G35 as well, i wasnt as impressed with it compared to the TL. I was actually quite impressed with the Altima

He couldn't believe it was a Grand Am. Anyway, the 3.5 SE is a sweet ride and I wish you good luck with it. :) :thumbup:

yea, for some reason it said that when we first got the car, but it seems to go up as the engine gets broken in. at around 900 miles now it gets about 28 MPG.
