Is a after market rim with the bolt pattern 5x114.3 the same as 5x115? Thats what I have heard.

no... our GA's have the 5x115 bolt pattern, but you can use the 5x114.3 if you use some adapter rings (the name escapes me right now). Do a search and you'll find alot of threads about this issue.
