Odd way to find out but it works.
get some clay, press it over the nut, remove it carefully so you don't rip the clay. Now take the chunk of clay with you to a parts store and buy a wrench that fits it.
The clay also works great if you run into a torx head and don't know what size you need. I've used it a few times a taught it to my son a couple months ago, when he was changing out brakes on a car. The caliper was held on by a bolt and a torx bolt.
I've never got the wrong size using clay.

Hold on!
If you have a '94, then it is a 2.3L Quad 4, not a 2.4L, and therefore MUCH easier to replace the water pump. The water pump on the 2.4L is configured in such a way that the timing cover needs to come off, but on the 2.3L you can remove the pump from the backside of the timing chain assembly. The easiest way to do this is by removing the exhaust manifold, then proceeding with the removal of the water pump. No need to deal with the crank pulley and the like.

Wow, great save Brad.
Like he said drop the exhaust manifold ( soak bolts over night with a pentrating oil ) then there is just the three bolts to remove the pump if I remember correctly.
You have it have beat already.
