Okay, now I got the subwoofer installed and the box carpet covered, I need to get a nice looking grille to go on it. It's a 12" JL sub.... where could I find some awesome looking grille covers to choose from???

Do you want something for looks or protection? I saw that Best Buy had some that were good for protection the sub. I think they also had some stylish ones for relatively cheap.

I think the Kicker grills look pretty good... Got them at a local car stereo shop. These are mine, I painted the red:

Another... as you can see I messed up a little on the painting... stupid masking tape.

Oh and if you're wondering, they are metal... real study and won't bust easily.

I kow it would almost never happen, but those grills always scare me that the sub is going to hit them and get punctured. lol ....Now that wouldtake alot of excursion to do. haha

anyway...They're alittle pricey, but a CircuitCity we have Fishman grilles.. They're about $29 each, but look kinda cool, depending on the install.

ohand traditional waffle style grilles. 2 for $10. lol but they do protech the speaker...had one on my old JL w0 got rearended the box slid into the back of the trunk and dented the grille, no damageto the sub. if it wasn't protected I'da been buying a new sub. So with that said, if the box has any chance of moving, or if your going orput any thing infront of them in your trunk...GET GRILLES!

Nah, I didn't like the spinning ones. I will probably get some Kicker grilles although I like the Audiobahn ones too. I am going to go out today after work and get one.

VERY... anyway, here is some pictures of my install. Please let me know what you think. This is custom fabricated box with a JL12W0. And I LOVE the grille I found for it at Circuit City for only $30. Please let me know what you think. (yes I need to vacuum my trunk)

It came with screws that were the correct length. Just screwed them in with a power screwdriver.
