Exsaust Size????

I have a Malibu 2K (3100) w/ Cold Air Intake, Bosh Plati 4+, 8mm spark wires, TB Bypass, Borla muffler w/ 2.25" cat back without resonator. I have a question, what size is better 2.25 or 2.5". I have 2.25 w Borla but some persons told me that 2.5 its better because allowing much air flow. Can I leave the same exsaust size or 2.5 gain more HP?????

with more mods such as heads, cam, etc. 2.5 inch will be better. Even without that stuff, 2.5 is more of a top end exhaust...

yeah... but on a 3.1L V6, 2.5" may not be too big?
