Ok heres the story my brother had his truck broken into and my mom wont let him keep his system cause the ******* did $1600 in damage to his truck trying to get his deck and amp they weren't able to get his subs though but her insurance went up because of this so she said no more system well lucky me i get all his subs 3 to be exact but I need an amp for 1 of them its a AudioBahn AW1500Q 15 in Subwoofer here are the specs. Features: 130 oz. Double Stacked Strontium Magnets Power Handling: 800 watts RMS Frequency Response: 18Hz-500Hz Efficiency: 93.9 dB PHAT 2" Foam Surround Non- Pressed, Non-Transfer Paper Cone KM3' Coated for Virtually No Cone Distortion 3" 4-Layer ASV Voice Coil Dual 4 Ohm 2 Ohm or 8 Ohm . i don't know much about stuff like this except how to wire it all up. Can someone help me by recommending an amp or point me in the right direction as to what kind of amp i need???? :???:

well you gave enough information, but theres one thing you'll have to check on. ohm load
you're going to need an amp that has roughly 700-1000 watts RMS. but here comes the tricky part......what ohm load do you need? is your particular sub dual 2, 4 or 8 ohm coils? that will make ALL the difference in the world when trying to choose an amp.
with 2 ohm coils you can get either 1 or 4 ohm operation. with 4 ohm you'll get either 2 or 8 ohm. and with 8 ohm you'll get 4 or 16 ohm. i would hope for the dual 4 ohm

Get the Audiobahn A8002t Intake series, 800 Watts Rms@ 4 ohm i have it and it makes my subs pound :)

yeah i want to get the audiobahn a8002t it will put out just as he says i heard it was nice
