nope

96-98 is 5x100 w/ 45 offset (shit it might be 35, but im almost positive its 45)

5x114 is for the newer grand ams and most everything else that gm builds midsize and up

chalk this up to our grand ams being closer to a sunfire than any midsize car

i myself wondered about the offset so thank you for stating that

Sorry to jump in someone else's thread, but I'm interested in some other rims too.

I know the bolt pattern is 100mm x 5, but what about the depth, or width, whatever. what can be fit on our cars, and what is optimum? (not like 16", 17" 18" but like the part you don't see, the part that gets covered by the tire.)

I found these rims, I think they are sweet:

I see these say 18 x 7.5, but would like 7, or 8 work too, with the right tires? I mean, does it HAVE TO BE 7.5 is my question.

all I know is that we have the same offset as the chevy beretta. And I want GTZ rims!!! they are the greatest. EVER.

beretta rims are 42mm offset, 5x100mm. i'll sell you my Z26 rims...

99+ are 5x115; although 5x114.3 will fit, too.

The Z rims dont look have as good as the GTZ rims... I'd have to get the Z26 rims painted/finished to make them look good. Gunmetal, probably... And im too lazy to do that, GTZ rims already come in black, and they look better, IMO. Pluys the Z rims have a bowtie on them!

IMO those are way cooler than GTZ rims..

the GTZ rims are 1lb or so heavier than Z26 rims.. but what can i say, i retired my Z rims and bought black aftermarket wheels. it doesn't have to be you though man, i'll sell my Z rims to anyone lol.

btw on my beretta, 7.5's will fit but may rub at full turn of the wheel. can't say for sure about GA's.

ok here's the deal

18x8 is the biggest i know u can fit w/out rubbing

245/45/18 is the biggest tire size (although even on an 8" wheel u dont need 245's), again that i know of w/out rubbing

45mm is the offset you will need

bolt pattern is 5x100

wow those Z rims look reallly good, all that needs to be done for that to not look off on a pontiac is to get rid of the Bowtie. I always knew the Z rims would look better if they were painted/refinished. Id seriously cut a deal with you, but my $$ currently is going to fix the problems with my GA... damn twin cam :(

i like woody's gunmetal ones better.

we need an opfficial Bretta thread, because it seems to me more than a few guys here love rettas, or have owned a few in the past... Just a thought :D
