I have two 12's in a sealed box in the trunk of my grand am gt. Will a reat trut bar from pfyc.com fitt over the box to connect the rear struts or do i have to move the box? thank you

If your sub box is lower than the strut perch where the bar goes on, then yes it will fit.

My rear tower brace on my '96 wouldn't fit over ANY box. It sits too low. I still have tons of room though to fit the box in the trunk though. Not sure which year GA you have but maybe the 99+ are different and will be able to fit a box under your strut bar. Either way, get it if you want. It won't hurt your audio setup. :)

you could try to push the box up and over the bar to straddle it if the bar sits too low.

Here pics of my setup with the rear tower brace. You may have a different style box but you'll get the idea.

I've got mine over top with no problems. I don't have a good pic of it though, sorry.

The top of my box is higer than the bolts on the struts. Although there is some rake on the bracket that holds the reat bar so maybe it would clear. If it dosent is there any chance of adding washers under the nuts to raise the bar or would that impare the performance of the strut bar?
