My name is Roberto, and I am new to this forum. I have a quick question on the specs of the LD9 in my 2001 Grand Am SE. I saw the sticky note post with some specs which gives 150 hp @ 5600 RPM and 155 lb-ft of torque @ 4400 RPM for the LD9.

However, I have seen in various models (especially in newer ones), that the LD9 is rated at 150 hp @ 5200 RPM and 167 lb-ft of torque @ 4000 RPM.

Was there a change in the power/torque output of the LD9 at some point?

And secondly, what specs apply specifically to my 2001 Grand Am SE?

I am just curious about this little discrepency. Thanks.

Hmm, I guess those sites with the other specs numbers that I found are wrong.

Ex. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Spec_Glance.aspx?modelid=9843&trimid=-1&src=VIP&tab=2&sub=0
