I've got my 95 Ga in excellent shape. I only have left to replace that bad egr valve and fix one more broken wire in the driver door speaker. BUt now I have to dig into my 98 Blazer. I used it to pull the car home from OK City to Houston. It rode wierd after that. Last week the abs light came on. Not intermittent, constant. So this weekend I went to check on it. I already replaced the speed sensor on the right side. This is now the left side. So I jack up the truck grab the tire and lookit that thing wobble. My greatest fear. The bearing hub assembly is shot. I replaced one on the GA. That was a bugger. Getting the one off the blazer was a hell of a lot easier. The part that gave me a heart attach was the price. A bearing hub for the GA was $80. That almost floored me. Then I got the price for my blazer. $308 friggin dollars. Why should something so small and simple be so damn expensive? Hell the computer is less than that. At least it's the 2wd. The 4x4 is $100 more. And I not only don't have the cash I won't for two more weeks, at least. SO I had to suck it up and put the bad one back on and put the spare on it. Can't do with out the truck. SO gave the GA to the wife to drive to work (Whahhh! It's too low!) and I'm driving the truck again. I can deal with it if it gets bad. Not bad yet. Just sounds like one of those trucks with monster tires. And it's already shot so not like I'm going to make it worse. I wouldn't do it with the 4x4 but the 2wd there's nothing else there. SO now I'm hunting ebay for a cheaper one. I thought I might be able to get a 4x4 hub but I took a look at one at autozone and it has 4 bolts where the 2wd has only 3. Damn. The wife shouldn't complain. She got the vehicle with a/c.
