Auto Trans Question?

What is the designation (like 4T60E, 4T65, etc) for the automatic transmission in my 2.4L I4 GA? I've done a search and checked the stickies but didn't find it. I've been wondering for a while. Thanks.

id say 4T65, since I think that the 60E was used in the W-bodies... dunno for sure though... all I really know is the manual trans codes, since I hate autos

I hear that, but you take what you can get. Someday I'd like to do a manual swap, but that's far in the future. I just want to know all I can find out about my car, and what it can handle.

I know the SE tranny holds up better than the GT one, at least from what I've heard.
