Looks good, really good. What hose is that? It isn't possibly.... this one?? I got it with my AEM intake. Maybe we could work something out for a trade, I'm going blue with my engine bay.

lol, well i cut the hose in half so its useless now, as you can see i duct taped it to the part of the stock hose, im just going to buy some hose from an autoparts store, should be more then a buck or two a foot.

buy this, thats probably what it is anyways, and look the picture has the 2.4L twin cam on the box http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7968748727&category=50452

Look on ebay, theres more in that color and im sure you can find it for less. But if you really want i can mail you the two sections, all you have to do is pay shipping. Granted you would have to wait till i took it off.

Meh, not too worried about it. I just figured you might want a black one. :)

that hose is ure return line from some valve (forgot the name) that recycles the crap coming out of it back into the motor to be burned and sent out the exhaust... yay

that hose? i left it open, you should put a breather on it, not a hose...

urweak

Yea, its the crank case vent, the intake has a port on it for a hose to be connected to it like stock, so i used it. Plus you dont get that oil smell from a breather filter, oh well its temporary anyways since ill be putting the HO manifold back on.

And thanks for all the comments.

No, i had my IDI cover that way for awhile, but repainted it and painted most of the head black. and i got the intake so i could cut it up and us it with the HO manifold swap, something i couldnt do with my old iceman intake.

How much of a difference did the HO mani make? And also how difficult was the conversion?

well, the car pulls alot harder in the high RPMs. It was easy since i had already done the swap once on my car, but took me forever this time b/c my stepdad had like half of the tools in the house in his truck, so i had to dig for all the sockets and things i needed. But it was super easy, i used a convertion plate so it made everything that much easier. if you need help with the swap let me know i could help you, i also wrote a guide on how to do it on www.quad4forums.com its in the tech write up area.
