The 2 door looks alot better. With the Grand Am I can honestly say it looks fine either way, but something about the G6 body lines just fall apart with 4 doors.

I think both the G6's look pretty good.(I think that my grand am looks a lot sportier though) Originaly when I bought my 2002 Grand Am I didnt really like the 2 door. But now I do, and thats why I got the 04 Coupe.

I think the G6 looks nice.
I dont like the back end of the coupe. I think it looks like crap and its awkward.

Wow - that's not too bad! Hopefully I can convince my wife that I need a 6 speed when I get my new car in a couple of years...lol

it so sexy I love the fact that the convertible is a hardtop. it makes it look so much betetr than a canvas roof.

You know...maybe this 2 door will be appealing because it doesnt look like an American car. We'll see.

The two door reminds me of a Solera and I don't like it in the slightest.

Saw a silver G6 GTP coupe today. Good looking car, except for the rearend. That looks like a Toyota.

I had one as a CTF car. I have to say the overall styling/handling is nice. It made my GA feel dog slow though. I overall really like it.
It has made me reconsider my next vehicle. We'll see.

The coupe looks too much like the new Eclipse. It does look better in person than in those pics tho. After seeing those pics i lost all interest, then i saw one in person and the interest is back.

I think that it looks like the new Eclipse. It does look better in person tho, and hopefully the GTP will look even better, cus we know the drivetrain is ther.
Did i read in here that the convertible is a hard top? If so, sweet, but i thought i saw pics of a soft top......

Good luck with that- as of now, it sounds like there is a decent chance that the convertible will be scrapped. They are having quality issues with the tops not holding up.

I think the rear of the coupe resembles the Nissan 350z

wow that picture is really....tiny. i saw a GTP but it was a sedan. im still not sold on the sedan, and i havnt seen the coupe in person yet, so well see, but it looks very japanese. i dunno...3.9 liter with only 230 or 240 hp...seems like they need to still up the hp per liter in the motors.

its cause its a pushrod, not a dohc, if it was a dohc it would easly be in the 290-310hp

^^ well thats kinda simplifying it, dont ya think?
Just making this thing dohc doesnt give it more horses.
So 240 horses out of 3.9L is about 61.5 horses per litre.
The new Vette gets around 66.5 horses per litre.
The Mazda 3 gets 62.6 horses per litre out of DOHC.
Now, the Saleen S7 gets 78.5 horses per litre out of a pushrod with 2 valves per cylindar.
And a Caddy can get 70.8 out of DOHC.
Alot of other things come into play, and i think Pontiac was tryin to save a buck. Im sure Pontiac could get 270 out of this engine, but the cost of the car would have to go up.
But hey, i'll take 240 horses, whether its from a 3.9 or 3.5 as long as its in a midsized Pontiac with 6 speeds :D

I just want the engine. a 3.9 in my GAGT would be a sweet exchange especially with the DOD ( displacement on demand ).
