I just got my carpet out of the shed after finally figuring out where the leak was (thanks to my brother wrecking the car).
And it smells like a musty shed.
Probably water or something.
Do you think I should put it in the car, then clean it with the cleaner, put it in the car and spray something on it, or keep it out of the car, clean it, and then spray it?
I just really dont want my car smelling like a musty shed. Bla.
Any suggestions on the spray to use?

Yep shawn got it!!!! Any way yeah with it out of the car you'll be able to get all the corners and edges much better, plus the stink wont go into the seats or or roof liner or anything like that.

Aw heck, i should just buy a new carpet. Oh wait, I already did. I spent 180 dollars on carpet for my brother to run it over with a freaking car (rwd) and of course, it had to get caught up in the freaking driveshaft. I could have killed him.
But as usual, he never ends up paying me back for it.
Side note, does anyone have any recommendations for a place that sells decent carpets that fit the car pretty well when we get them. I want one with the stuff that our current floors come with that help dampen the noise from the outside world.
And I want it to be in a blue color. Not neon, but a mid.
