Hello everyone, The check engine light, every once in a while, comes on, then goes a away a day or so later...There is no pattern, except it seems to happen more when the temp drops...Alot of time the car will not start on cold mornings. I must wait a few hours. Then it will run perfectly fine.... ANyone have any suggestions??? Thanks!

My "check engine light" has a cold weather thingy going on to.
On a winter day i'll fire it up and go into the house to let her warm up.
15 minutes later i come out and the "check engine light" is on.
I hit the gas pelal a couple times and the "check engine light" goes out.
The check engine light usually means one of your sensors thinks something's wrong.

Andy, you should take your car to a parts store, like Autozone, that will read the codes for free. Don't buy any parts just yet - find out what code scans and tell us what it is. Then maybe we can help you out...
MetalWarrior, same idea, except you can get the codes yourself with a paperclip. The link to the directions is in my signature. Let us know what code flashes out.
Diagnostic codes are useful for pointing you in the direction of a problem, but they don't necessarily tell you what is wrong. Generally you need to do further diagnostics to determine if a sensor, connection, or wiring is bad.

Might be the battery?
