Well it seems everyone has their weird compressor sounds when the A/C is off...how bout when the A/C is on or engaged. I get a low to medium pitch whirring sound. A/C works fine other than the sound (don't get me wrong it loud....loud enough to scare small children). I've refrained from using the ac all together with the exception of windows fogging up in the rain *@($. If anyone knows if I need to replace the compressor (which I'm thinking I'm gonna have to) pls post. I have recharged the system and it SEEMED to get rid of the problem temporarilly but of course it came back. Thanks in advanced guys.
