May 7 All Pontiac show

is anyone here going to the fuddruckers show in may? im sending in my registration today, its $20 to enter if the check is sent by the 27th and $30 to register at the door. its on May 7 at fuddruckers on El Toro in Lake Forest.

id encourage anyone who wants to help support the grand am movement to show up. the club that puts it on usually shuns the newer cars (except for the f-bodies). even the fieros get more attention than us.

eh...im kinda burned on the event now. fourth year of attending and still no trophies.

ill post pics eventually, as soon as i get up enough motivation to upload them. there was a relly cool yellow GTO-->Monaro. he won third in his class, bogeystar won first in that nw GTO class with his AED hood. Randy won 2nd place in our class, with the '86 grand prix winning first...AGAIN! i hate that car sooooo much. its so damn ugly and it always wins 1st.

thats weird, the east coast the old farts love my car and cars like it. but i have noticed they tend to favor the olders tho. like High Preformace Pontiac has yet to put a pic f cars from my class in there show coverage. well i did see one once and that was cool. i was accually at the show hahah. but they write like 2 sentences in the artical about our class and the rest is the muscle cars. but my pontiac club member love my car. also i love their cars. nothing like and oltime V8 :)

heres the car that came in third in Mikes class, this car is bad ass. hes a pretty cool guy too (used to own a GA too)

heres the back. it was an 04 GTO that was converted to an 05 monaro. he paid such attention to detail that he even got a monaro steering wheel.

here was whati believe to be a 1926 Oakland. the oldest car at the show...it took 2nd in its class (pre-war).

this guy took 3rd in the new GTO class, i personally didnt like the tails but the stripes looked nice.
