Wasn't sure quite where to post this. But it can be moved if it doesnt belong.
I want to take the UIM off to polish it up, but I just wanted to know some things before I did. 1) Can you re-use the same gasket, and 2) is there any torque specs or anything I need to know?
Found about the torque on 60degreeV6, but still need to know about the gasket.
Thanks.

Always install a new gasket , the old one is good for one use only . You don't want any vacuum leaks .

Well you dont really have to change the gaket if it does not rip.
Forget TQ. specs tighten it till it does not move any more and use your judgement. the shorter your ratchet the less TQ.
Cover the intake holes, if anything gets in them your done.
