theres been a couple discussions already about coil-overs and the Grand Am,any year, aren't setup to have coil overs. Now Im thinking if you have struts all the way around it might work since coil-overs are one whole unit,spring and strut together. If you have spring and strut/shock seperate its not going to work. Plus a couple people were thinking there will be some dragging issues. Look through a few pages and try to find them because I know theres been atleast 3 discussions about them,I wouldn't recomend getting them.If you do, go to http://www.mantapart.com they do sell coil over kits made for the Grand Am,but they are not cheap

Due to the rear suspension not being fully independant on pre-99 GA's, coilovers just won't work. Just read the sticky at the top of the handling section here regarding this.

just imagine riding in a dump truck:lol: Friend custom made some on his 99+ Alero and it was lowered 4inches,pretty much tucking his tires and it felt like riding in a dump truck,but a little softer because he had KYB Struts so it softened the blow
